Anthurium Jenmanii craze

I’m back from Eid-ul Fitr holiday vacation to my grandparents’ home town in Magelang & Solo.

There’s always a new business trend over there, from there I knew that currently Indonesian people are crazy over collecting Anthurium, particularly Anthurium Jenmanii, where the price of the small plant (that’s just grew from a seed) is determined by the amount of leaf (1 leaf started at about 11$)
I read at a nursery tabloid that there’s a big Anthurium Jenmanii that worth over than 1 million Rupiah, that’s like… slightly more than 100.000 USD!!!
and there are more expensive ones of this kind @_@

I read in American forums that this craze only happens in South East Asia, particularly Indonesia!
Anthurium jenmanii, What in the world is going on?
Anthurium jenmanii…..what’s going on with this one?
They (Americans) don’t understand this condition, me neither @_@

Following the trend, my dad and my sister bought 2 small Anthurium Gelombang Cinta (Wave of Love) and a small Anthurium Golok (Coriaceum) for about 6$ each, they’re planning to keep it for a year.
Actually, she wanted to buy a small Anthurium Jenmanii with 2 leaves, but the seller won’t give it for less than 38$ ^^;

*sighs* i still don’t understand what’s so great about this Anthurium Jenmanii… do you?

Hoshi no Koe (Voices of A Distant Star)

hoshi no koe
When i was looking for stuff related to Yumeka Sumomo/ Mizu Sahara/ Sasshi, i got stumbled upon Hoshi no Koe (Voices of A Distant Star), a one volume manga which is an adaptation of an anime with the same tittle.
The manga is beautiful. I was really touched by it T_T
yes, so… i watched the anime afterwards
The anime is a bit different from what i imagined, but it still looks good.
The creator is amazing, to be able to produce such great anime mostly by himself O_O;
although somewhat i feel that the manga has more emotional touch rather than the anime itself

next to review is The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (Toki o Kakeru Shōjo)
