i use it to limit download of Limewire & Bitcomet in my office network, to keep my bosses’ browsing activity comfortable :p
so far i try to block TCP port 1214-8000 and 6346 for Limewire, and TCP port 6881 - 6999 for Bitcomet, set upload & download limit to 5 KB/s each
am i being too mean? ^^
i heard that p2p softwares are very smart, that they will use port 80 if necessary (that’s for browsing websites), but since i’m not totally blocking the ports they’re using now, i hope they won’t use port 80 >_<
