belasungkawa

Dear Ananda,

I was deeply saddened by the news of the passing of your father this week. There is very little anyone can say at a time like this to give you any comfort, but please accept my deepest condolence over the loss of your father. Out thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of bereavement.

Sincerely yours,

Iba

stupid bitchy shoujo

(i apologize for the harsh title)

shun showed me this article today
Article: She Was Asking For It, by Lianne and NotHayama

yeah it’s true, that’s why i’m not really into those stupid themes
i like stories where the heroine have equal power to the hero, even stronger if possible nyehehehe~
i’m quite strong-willed, so i won’t like characters who aren’t ;p

Hamachi

Hamachi: Stay Connected

Hamachi is a zero-configuration virtual private networking (VPN) freeware application. It is the first VPN application capable of establishing direct links between computers that are both NAT’ed without requiring NAT reconfiguration.

Hamachi - Wikipedia

mist bara (unintentionally) promoted it to me yesterday
although i wasn’t interested at first, the persuasion line “think of the possibilities” moved me, so i tried it
it worked great!
no more ftp setup, dcc trouble, p2p blocked port, etc.
yet shun shut it down when i browsed through his C due to severe freezing…. -__-;

cosplay

oneday i’m gonna make costumes for other people to use (i.e. my little brother), since i don’t have the guts to wear it myself XD

The Cosplay manufacture process

hair dye

for the first time in my life, i started to think that black hair is boring…

yesterday i tried to apply red henna to my black hair, the result was dissapointing, i only got slight (if not invisible) red highlight… more like as if my hair got slight sunburn -_-;
my sister suggested chemical hair dye which i wanna avoid as much as possible, but it should get me stronger color
i really like using henna as hair dye :) my sister even used it to color her nails
i’ve been using black henna for years, every 4 months or just when i think it’s necessary

now i wanna have reddish hair >.< maybe dark auburn or dark burgundy

here's a nice article from AsianWeek.com explaining about the tendency of Japanese or other Asian women dying their hair into another color but black ;D

trip to bali

fly Jakarta < -> Bali with Air Asia, cheap ticket but no free food on plane ;p

stayed in Sing Ken Ken beach hotel, a very nice place, just right in front of Legian beach

walk around Legian street, there are lots of lovely shops selling craft, souvenirs, clothes, etc.

hang out in Kuta Beach, was waiting to see sunset, but no luck ;p

learnt to surf in Kuta beach
Odysseys Surf School: lesson fee 20$ for local, 30$ for bule (foreigner), guarantee to be able to stand up in the first lesson. Great local instructors!

shop in Ubud traditional market, a big market with lots of choice, but the prices are slightly more expensive than Sukowati market

shop in Sukowati art market, we went crazy shopping here, everything is so cheap (if you can bargain down to 70% from the first price)

went to Tanah Lot temple, (again) was waiting to see sunset but no luck
it has traditional market around the entrance street selling souvenirs, the prices can be as cheap as in Sukowati if you can bargain well

ate sea food dinner in Jimbaran beach, yup as it said

aawww i wanna go there again…

we visited wood & silver carving workshop in Sanur(?)
these are wooden dragons i wanted to buy, but didn’t, so i only took pics of them XD

the price tag was 90$ for the smallest dragon, but the shop keeper said it can be negotiated down to 50%

Nokia hacks

Nokia Flash Reverse Electronic Engineering
Nokia codes
Unlocking Your Nokia Phone

my Nokia 3586i’s Gallery is too full that it crashes everytime i click it to view folders
seems that i transferred too many images and ring tones… :(
cell fone technician told me to restore its factory setting, but i dunno the lock code ><
so the only way is to “flash” it, but he asked for 15 bucks to do that
i thought if he uses some kinda software to do that flash thing, then i can do it myself :P
i’ve got a DKU-5 data cable + a geeky mind
