I went to JIFFEST (Jakarta International Film Festival) last weekend with an ex-coworker. She was replacing her boss who couldn’t make it to attend TNT Movie Day at Djakarta Theatre. So she asked me to accompany her since I was one of the few people in the office who wished to go there.
TNT has been a loyal sponsor for JIFFEST, and the event itself has been held every year within the past 6 years. Hundreds of quality movie from all around the world played in around 2 weeks.
We got to watch Le Grand Voyage (The Great Journey), the opening movie of JIFFEST and also the most anticipated title, coz if I’m not mistaken, it won the best debut movie at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Last year I also got to watch the opening movie, Le Chorustes (The Chorus), which was also French movie. Later on I noticed that I’m used to think that JIFFEST is similar to FFF (French Film Festival)…
No, actually there are many movie other than French ;p
Movies from Japan, Indonesia, USA, Italy, Vietnam, etc., are worth to watch as equal
Anyway, Le Grand Voyage was good (duh if not, it wouldn’t be that famous heh)

Yeah so…
After the movie screening, we went to Audio & Video Expo 2005 at the JCC (Jakarta Hall Convention Center), where she went shopping for electronics. Me? Oh I was just analyzing the price of an LCD TV ;D it starts from around 500 US$ for 17′.

Hmm… workloads are getting… ANNOYING!

I never really busy to not be able to play around, but at the same time, i never really have the time to play around…
I should spread more CV on the net *sighs*

And goodness… the damn final task, i may consider to just give up and drop out of that hell
i hate it, therefore i want to forget about it

it’s windy today…

last weekend i went to Indonesia Book Fair 2005 with dorm-mates
it’s a cool annual event
where books were on sale! XD

i met this stand called News Stand, where they sold used imported books with affordable price. They have manga magazines and other international books from all over the world.
imported books are hell way too expensive for me so i find this News Stand like a miracle box
for example, 1 manga magazine published on 2004 were sold for 1.7 US$
and most of other magazines were sold below 5$
see why i like it so much?

In my so-called dorm, there’s a public enemy, he’s the dorm owner’s son.
He stays at the dorm like the rest of us. His parents, the dorm owner don’t live in the same house, so on daily basis, he’s the person in charge.
This guy has almost all of bad attitudes i can mention. But he’s still nicer to girls ;p
There’s this dorm-mate who really hates the owner’s son (we all sorta hate him as well though). Well, they hate each other equally.
The owner’s son can’t understand English at all >< so we can talk in English about him in front of his face without him noticing ><
it's a bit unfair though, exploiting his weakness like that... XD

i can’t believe my dorm mates left without telling me anything
that hard to realize my existence?
they keep complaining about me who don’t seem to care about my surrounding, unable to socialize, etc.
but just look at how they treated me
i’m an outsider, a wallflower
**** those people!
quit bitching and leave me alone u hypocrites!
